America Ranks 31st in World Gender Equality Study

This is my first time posting, so I hope I'm doing this right. Earlier this year, the World Economic Forum reported the result of their annual study on gender equality in more than a hundred countries worldwide. America came in at 31 behind some "Third World" nations such as the Philippines, Cuba, and Croatia.

Here is my blog about this report.

And here is a direct link to the World Economic Forum.

You may find this just as disturbing - the US ranks 68th of women in parliamentary positions. http://www.ipu.org/wmn-e/classif.htm
I have been folowing this for years and the US just moves up and down from 67 - 69. It is so terrible listening to the media ask if we are ready for a woman as commander in chief - we are way behind.
