Brooke Hogan Does NOT Know Best

"You know what? I am actually not that much into voting. I think it’s kinda crazy that a woman is running, because I think that women deal with a lot of emotions and menopause and PMS and stuff. Like, I’m so moody all the time, I know I couldn’t be able to run a country, ‘cause I’d be crying one day and yelling at people the next day, ya know?"

—Brooke Hogan, when asked who she's voting for by a potential roommate on her series Brooke Knows Best.

I saw that about fifteen minutes ago and almost threw up. Thanks for putting it up here to show everyone else!

As a 21 year old woman, it is infuriating that people like Brooke Hogan, initially famous not of their own rights but because of their fathers, think that they have to let everyone know of their "political opinions." I just hope that someone at Rock The Vote has a solution to have more influential and immensely more talented young celebrities impact the political world this season.

Not that young celebrities are the only way to get young American's to be involved in the political process, I meant that having more intelligent individuals in the spotlight will prove that not all young "celebrities" are as moronic as Brooke and Heidi Montag (who, by the way I just saw is going to Iraq on a troop visit.) Yeah, these are the people our teenagers watch on tv on a weekly basis...

Well, considering her dear old dad said that a terrible accident her brother's friend had that put him into a coma was a sign from God that they needed to be "better Christians", I'm seriously not surprised.

I don't really see why there should be added anger over the fact that she's "initially not famous of [her] own rights." People who become famous by themselves (and are more influential/talented) aren't necessarily any more intelligent or politically savvy.

Everyone has a right to express their political opinions in this country, even if we don't think they deserve whatever (semi-)influential platform they have.

That said, Brooke definitely does not know best as evidenced by that quote, hahaha (I didn't even know she had her own show, oh, reality tv). I love it when people extrapolate their own experiences to describe an entire gender. "Well I'm a woman and *I* could never handle it, so..."

brooke hogan probably couldn't handle tying her own shoes. god, what a talentless waste of airtime.

sorry, i just really despise the whole trend of children/siblings of celebrities who are suddenly given the limelight when they've got nothing to show for themselves apart from sharing DNA with someone legitimately famous.

all i can hope is that we have enough representation from other young celebrities who speak out with more informed, intelligent political opinions to balance out the brooke hogans and heidi montags.

If she lacks the confidence maybe SHE can abstain from a presidential bid. You don't speak for me, hell, you don't even KNOW ME, so shut the hell up about my abilities!

PS: I actually don't particularly care to run for president, but if I did, she would be the last person I would consult about it.

I wish she wouldn't associate all of her problems with the rest of the female population.
