As someone who was told by a supervisor at a recent job with a national company that "women with small boobs are offensive", I am reluctant to jump into any position that comes my way now that I'm again on a job hunt.
Unfortunately, as I've just graduated college and moved back to my hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, I have to find something to pay the rent and the student loans.
Due to, I suppose, the economy, many of the non-profits that I've applied to can't afford to hire anyone right now, though they have positions that desperately need to be filled.
I really hope to be able to find a job that will help me advocate for and activate women. I want my feminism to be practiced.
Has anyone else run into this problem? Does anyone have suggestions for me regarding finding feminist work?

I believe that is allowable by law to respond to any statement such as the one you describe with the formal response: "Are you a fucking retard?"
Why in the world are small boobs offensive? That's one for the record books.
I'd say try to find a job that maybe has a secondary feminist opportunity. Working with organic markets or other "hippie" stuff might open an opportunity.
Even if you can't do it through your job title, you can always advocate through your actions. That's not what you're looking for, but it might help if you can't get a job tht fulfills it. Good luck!
I just posted similarly on a post about Post-College Internships... basically I have been working on my final student placement and have not yet secured a paid position in the agency for reasons related to funding. I have signed up for some volunteer work and literally took my resume to ever NP agency in town... things are starting to come together after a few months.
