It seems that the wonderful people over at Axe have managed to outdo themselves, in the form of sick sexist commercials, once again. This one is by far their creepiest. Women being portrayed as robots with the mere purpose of cleaning a man in the style of a drive-thru carwash. If your vomit-o-meter is going off like mine is, feel free to contact Axe by going to their less-than-classy website and go to the bottom where it says "contact us" in very small letters (gee I wonder why, it's as if they are trying to hide something.) Be warned, the website is just as bad, if not worse than the commercials.

I hate that ad too! The only redeeming thing is that it's all a FANTASY that chicks wash him--when he steps out of the shower at the end, it's just a regular shower.
Have you seen the one for shaving cream (don't know what brand) where it's babes who are scent or scrubbing particles? ... being slathered in white cream? ugh...
I considered keeping a list of all the offensive ads I see but then I realized that every single child's toy ad, and every household product ad would be gender biased.
I wrote to Heineken once about that robot-keg-lady ad and they said they wouldn't stop airing it because it met regulations concerning underage drinking. Yeah thanks for not even reading my letter, jerks.
Hey Apieceofwork, thanks for commenting! No, I haven't seen that one but I'm sure I'll know it when I do *barf* but I know exactly what commercial you are talking about for heineken. I gotta say I think the whole women/robot thing is the creepiest thing and what's even creepier is the fact that it's starting to turn into a trend. I wish there was something more that we could do because writing them/calling them doesn't seem to do much. Protest anyone? Hehe.
