Ok, so I am addicted to iTunes and my iPod. Literally. There have been some great things that have come out of it though, like my amazingly toned thighs (long bike-ride-jam sessions) and this playlist, the first of many.
First on the list is Christina Aguilera and Lil' Kim, who I believe deserve awards for their great songwriting and performance on this song. 8 thumbs up, ladies!!!
Pink is the only artist repeat but she is so sassy and spunky I couldn't do this playlist without having her on it.
Destiny's child and Beyonce made stunning tracks, all while being very billboard-worthy.
Saving Jane always has me on my toes, because I never know what their going to put out next. This surprise, however, was very encouraging. By the way, it's now a two-girl revolution.
This is by far Lamberts' best. Makes me want to go practice my aim on the guy who sexually assaulted me.
I DON'T NEED A MAN. Repeat 20 times, take a breather, and listen to this song. Normally I wouldn't support the dolls (their current single, when I grow up, is complete and utter trash) but this song is lyrically way to good. Repeat: I don't need a man to make me feel good, I GET OFF doing my thing!!
Classic "Your mine, I'm yours" story. Great telling to Jessica!!
To complete this set, I end with Imperfection and U + Ur Hand. Just listen to the songs. They'll say more then I ever could. --(JR)

You forgot "Just A Girl" by No Doubt
"Can't Hold Us Down" is a perfect song to start off this playlist!
Ok, so I know it's not exactly a high-energy song for working out, but Ani DiFranco's "Not a Pretty Girl" is one of my all-time favorite feminist songs.
"Not a Pretty Girl" is such a great song - as is "Letter to a John." I met a woman a while back who was discussing with me feminism and she mentioned Not a Pretty Girl is her favorite song. I so wanted to kiss her. :D
"Pendulum Swinger" by the Indigo Girls is great, too.
Don't Forget "Rebel Girl" by Bikini Kill!!!!!!! AND The frontwoman of the band Kathleen Hanna started the Riot Grrrl movement which is closely realted to third wave feminism.
