Female athletes are not fuck toys!

Olympians...world class athletes or fuck toys? Depends on if the athlete in question is male or female.  High-acheiving men are revered for their accomplishments, but the women athletes are still judged on their attractiveness and fuckability.  The Facebook group linked below states that Alicia Sacramone "sucks at gymnastics" (yeah, so why did she make the Olympic team then?!?) but, hey, a whole lot of assholes say they'd still fuck her anyways.  Great statement of values there.

If you are a member of Facebook, please sign in, go to this group, and report it.  It's just offensive and Facebook needs some input from people who do not accept that it's okay to publicly talk about women this way.&

I just went and reported it, thanks for the heads up! I've also reported this group in the past, but it makes me really sad to see it's still around, AND that there are 546 members. That's more than my Healthy Body Image group!

the link for it is http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=502604790&ref=ts#/group.php?gid=2443646569

I'm sorry, I don't know any html so I don't know how to shorten that, haha.

This is pretty repulsive...

miktacular, if you want to use a hyperlink in your posts, it's super easy:

Text you want people to click on

At least, that's how I was taught to do it, and it works.

you're amazing for posting this! Thank you so much - I did go ahead and report it and asked my friends to do so as well.

Thanks again for the heads up!

Thanks for the heads up!

I doubt Facebook will remove it. They're really lax about enforcement. At least, while it's up, it's a handy way to identify jackasses.

I just reported it to Facebook. Will see if they remove it.

I just reported it, too. Thanks for the heads-up. Maybe if enough of us do, the admins of Facebook will actually do something about it...

I hate to be Debbie Downer, but I'll be surprised if Facebook actually does remove the group, regardless of how many complaints they receive from amazing feminists like the ladies here.

Last year I reported a Facebook event entitled "Steak and a Blowjob Day" (essentially about how being male is so difficult all of us ladies should take a day to provide them with the two afforementioned items) and, not surprisingly, nothing happened. The worst part: I found out about the event because I was INVITED! (Not by my partner, but a skeezy high school aquaintance who earned an immediately de-friending.)

Thanks Mark Zuckerberg, glad to see Facebook is such a convenient place for dumbass misogynists-in-training to congregate and encourage one another.

Here's hoping that this round of reporting goes better than the "Steak and Blowjob" incident of 2007.

Bad news, ladies, it's still there. I just signed on to report it. AND I was lucky enough to view some samples of the charming accompanying comments. Here are a few of my favorite:

"she did try her best, but she also kind of lost the gold for us last night.. she should feel obligated to have sex with all the americans she let down last night.."

"Alicia should feel honored that this many people wanna bang her"

"i wud face fuck her so hard she'd get a fuckin jaw disfunction"

"cock juggling thundercunt im fairly positive youre gonna suffer from domestic violence later in your life with an attitude like that."

Seriously, I am outraged...I feel like we HAVE to do something here. I noticed you can report individual users...I don't know if that will make a difference.
