Giving credit to William Saletan

William Saletan has caught a lot of grief about abortion politics, but he's got good points about the Bush administrations new regs about "the right of employees to refuse to facilitate any abortifacient chemical or activity"

He's being snarky, but in so doing raises the serious point about the many activities (breastfeeding!) and substances (caffeine!) that would qualify as abortifacients unders this silly, but dangerous regulation.

I agree, this is a great piece about some scary regulations. But, I find it a little spooky because I can almost see pro-lifers reading it and taking it seriously. Maybe it's just me and pregnancy has made me paranoid about people telling me what to do with my body.
