Hypocrisy really grinds my ass

On the main page, in the weekly reader, is a link to HHS Secretary Mike Leavitt's defense of the proposed regulations to support medical care providers who choose to restrict access to birth control, deeming it abortifacent. I will not reproduce the link here, only my comment on his defense.

I find it laughable that you dare to be defending the right to choose for those who just happen to be choosing something you agree with. How dare you co-opt the language that was designed to allow individuals to make choices about their own health care in the name of allowing a complete stranger to make that choice for them?

you sir are a hypocrite, of the worst kind. talk to some women with Polycystic Ovarian syndrome, or Endometriosis, or PMDD about why you think that some random pharmacist who does not know them from Adam should be allowed to decide if they get to live normal, relatively pain-free lives before you go and defend your anti-woman stance.
