Well, I have a senior project to do in order to graduate, only i have no clue what to do my field work on. The field work has to pertain to my topic--Many teens are too afraid to "come out" to their families or friends because they are afraid of being disowned by their parents, they don't want to be teased or bullied by other kids at school and they feel alone, they have no one to support them and give them the strength to be who they really are.-- If you have any suggestions on fixing my thesis topic please feel free to make any suggestions.
The field work also has to be a stretch, something wouldn't normally do or have never done before. It has to be a newly aquired skill. That is what I am having trouble on because after the field work I have to use it towards the community. And explain how it would help other people. So iI am completely and entirely lost on what to do.
Again if you have any suggestions, please help!
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Sincerely,
Bianca .. one grateful senior

Is there a GLBTQ youth center in your area? You could volunteer there. If there isn't is there any type of youth center? You could try to organize a program for GLBTQ youth at a local youth center. Or (I know this is short notice) National Coming Out Day is October 11. You could try to organize an event at your school or in your community.
Do you have a Gay straight alliance in you school, maybe they will help? How about doing some research an LGBQT teens oer interview some LGBQT leaders.
P.s my school has the same thing and I'm also a senior! yikes!
