Amy Poehler is my Hero.
Amy is coming out with a new digital series with ON networks that celebrates young girls who are changing the world by being themselves. The show - Smart Girls at the Party - aims to help girls find confidence in their own aspirations and talents, and to prove that you don't have to be famous to be interesting.
Amy, we love you.

Oh my gosh, I LOVE it!!
More of this!!!
Young girls need it!
Amy has been one of my sheroes since she came up with the girl-positive, funny The Mighty B! cartoon on Nickelodeon. This just further proves how awesome she is in promoting positive images for girls!
I knew I adored Amy Poehler. I can't wait to see the episodes.
My personal favourite is the theme song.. "smart girls have more fun..."
it's catchy AND awesome!
Oh, I love her so much. The show looks awesome, too.
Show looks good, but my opinion of Amy Poehler has really dropped since Baby Momma. Goddamn that movie was garbage.
I think it is a great that a celebrity is coming out with something like this for young girls. Hopefully many of them will watch it and be able to build their confidence. And it is true that smart girls have more fun!
Fantastic! As a feminist researcher interested in giving girls voice and agency I couldn't be happier that Amy and others are doing this show. I saw a few girls of color in the clips--I hope Amy and friends don't focus on white girls but really show diverse ideas, backgrounds, classes, etc. I love the idea that we are encouraging girls to be smart! Way to go!
