A link to a blog site, Propeller, was featured on AOL Today. It was leading to a blog about a nude painting of Sarah Palin being featured at the Old Town Ale House in Chicago. Guessing by the photo there are several nude pictures of women at this bar seeing as several were right next to Palin's.
To clear up what readers may be thinking about me while reading this. I don't think all nude painting of women are porn but in this particular case it is. It is currently the main attraction to this bar that has been described as "dingy." Take from that what you will.
This particular blog that I read about this did not give much information about it. If anyone can find out more please share.

Disrespectful, demeaning and tasteless? Sure.
But I think to call it pornographic is going a little far. It's not like they have her shoving that gun anywhere. All that's shown is boobs and pubes. Besides, I don't think this was meant to cause sexual excitement as much as it was intended to belittle her.
uhm thanks for the violent imagery...is it only porn when a woman is being penetrated? isn't playboy porn? they aren't being penetrated by anything?
As an artist I can only but say that perhaps it is time for women to present themselves, their sexuality, their bodies as powerfully as that of men. To say the painting was pornographic is quite limited...it is art and political art at that. My only question is: Why not a nude of John McCain?
