Supporting our troops...

A local club comes out with these advertisements about once a week. They end up all over our school and tucked under the windshield wipers of all of the cars.
This gives new (and terrifying) meaning to supporting our troops.
...I never go to the club without my boa of ammo.

This is ridiculous. We can commemorate male veterans, but we have to degrade and undermine female veterans? According to this sign these people don't even realixe there are women who fight and are G.I.s. It's also telling of how we think of women in the military in general. Considering the astronomically high percentage of women who are raped or sexually assualted by fellow American military men, we seem to see men as the real war heroes and women as the sexually available "army hoes". I'm glad this is how we thank our women vets.
