Technological Glitch or Not-so-Subtle Hint?
I was just looking through Facebook and went to "thumbs-down" an ad (about a celebrity diet) and instead of it bringing up the menu where you get to chose why you didn't like the ad, it just took me back to my home page.
Is this just a glitch, or is Facebook trying to tell me it wishes I would just stop complaining about ads I find offensive and just let them drag down my body image already?
Oh, and I always, ALWAYS mark "offensive" for the weight loss ads that I see all over my male friends profiles.

Not a glitch. Happened to me too. I always mark offensive for those ads as well.
I think the default when a link doesn't work is to take you to your home page. Try following a url for a photo you don't have access to, for example. It always takes you to your home page. So probably just a web glitch, but if it happens a lot you should let them know.
I think it's a glitch...it's never happened to me...but that doesn't mean that the Invisible Pink Unicorn isn't pink...
I also mark them all as offensive (or whatever the "pirate" equivalent is, since I set my language settings to "pirate"). But since I took my gender off of my profile the ads are now more suited to my interests. I don't think we should have to hide being women to avoid stupid, offensive and mundane diet adverts, but it helps me not get bat shit angry every time I log in.
