I don't know whether to put this in Humor or not, since I find anti-choice slips of the tounge funnier than most.
As you may know, I like to blog commentaries on letters in my local paper. Today's paper has this doozy . A slightly (slightly!) atypical prolifer, he has giving up on government regulation and advocates taking matters into your own hands in order to stop abortion.
Don't worry! No honest and healthy attitudes towards sex required! Also no SUVs or pipe bombs! All you need are sanctimonous platitudes and bowling leagues! And lots and lots of childless straight couples to foist your child upon!
I found number 4 to be particularly lulzy, since it's just so revealing about pro-life attitudes:
4. This is a new one, at least for me to advocate. Stop blaming the young woman as if she did it herself. It takes two to bring a child into this world. It is in one body, but two people brought it about. Let the young men know it is their fault too. Cast blame gently; firmly, but gently. You may only create a bigger problem by getting mean-spirited. But both parents are at fault.
It's not what we we going for when we were campaigning for gender equality, but thanks for trying.

It's fine to comment that she has good biceps, but I think it's stupid to say she'll inspire women to do it too. Women are already "inspired" enough to work out, for bad reasons and good reasons. I will say that reducing her *fitness level* to having good biceps is bad. This is what is annoying- too many women work out to look a certain way rather than to be strong. I'm sorry but standing infront of the mirror lifting light weights bedroom furniture to get "Michelle Obama biceps" before your wedding doesn't make you fit. This is what bothers me about the comment.
