Sexist Comedians
Is it wrong that this kinda bugs me? I try to let it slide and usually I don't sit and watch it and analyze it but it still pisses me off:

I do not think it wrong that you are bothered by this. Some comedians try to do things which are intentionally offensive, because that is often the only way for an otherwise untalented person to become famous. But honestly, this guy sounds like he's learning disabled.
As for the audience laughing, I would attribute that to the mob mentality.
They call this 'being a hack' in comedy. You say stuff that you know will kill, because it has killed a million times before. Topics include:
Differences between men and women: women can't make decisions, women talk loads and have loads of shoes, whereas men are just pathetic cavemen who think with their dicks.
Airport security.
Religious fundies.
Have you ever noticed how funny the English language is... (this is getting more boring the more I see it)
And so on. It might be fun to come up with our own cliched topics for comedy, I'm sure I'll think of more and keep adding them...
Yea I figured he was "being a hack comedian" and using things that are just essential "female" characteristics. It's not even like, "Oh just take it easy and laugh," It's just not funny. It would be ACTUALLY funny if he made more ironic/satirical jokes about patriarchy or something... just a bit more intelligent.
Here are a couple other gems from one comedian:
-One about marriage: http://comedians.comedycentral.com/tommy-johnagin/videos/tommy-johnagin---marriage
-One about pregnancy: http://comedians.comedycentral.com/tommy-johnagin/videos/tommy-johnagin---pregnancy

I saw it on TV and just turned it off.
I'm very glad you brought this up, though I dare not click on the links. I saw this comedian from Ireland who was one of the worst! I can't remember his name (and have no desire to) but he just went on and on and made the biggest show about how women are SO annoying and SO crazy "a couple days a month"...and how women have feelings while men prefer thoughts...and how women break down and sob over the littlest things, like the difficulties of shoe shopping...and how women just want men to comfort them and tell them everything is okay, but men don't feel comfortable with being sympathetic because "it feels so womanly and weak"...yeah...he was the WORST I have seen so far.
