Apparently, Rush Limbaugh is in the mood for some lovin'. It must be because of our recent Valentine's Day, right?

Women don’t really like Rush Limbaugh. On Feb. 23, Public Policy Polling released findings showing that only 37 percent of women hold a favorable opinion of the hate radio host, compared to 56 percent of men.
As Jill Zimon notes , Limbaugh brought up this poll yesterday on his radio show, noting that it was one of the largest gender gaps Public Policy Polling has seen on any issue it has polled in the past year. His solution? To convene a summit of women to find out why they dislike him...
So Rush wants to hold my hand, or something like that. So I thought I would leave this up to you, Feministingers. What can Rush do to earn greater favorability in your heart? You know, that cold little corner reserved for fear-mongering, disrespectful, misogynistic, right-wingers with hearts like ice and wallets squeezed shut tighter than their... well, you get the idea.

Actually, I doubt that there is anything Limbaugh could do to get me listening to his show.
Unless, he stopped appearing on it and made Rachel Maddow the host. But then, who would host her show?
Nah. I'm back to nothing.
Apologize for everything he's ever said and explain that it was all a failed attempt at satire?
Conspire to destroy the GOP for good so that they can never hold office again/make legislation? And shut his mouth for the rest of eternity. Then, I think I miiiight listen to a minute or so of his show. Although complete silence will get repetitive after a while. Might lose some ratings.
If he really does hold a confeence, it would be a really good opportunity to do some sh*t disturbing against him.

This is actually a really interesting poll. We all know why WE don't like him. I think the interesting question is why a good chunk of women who consider themselve conservatives/Republicans don't like him.
My opninion is that it isn't just that he is an anti-feminist and sexist but he is also something else, something that even women, who might believe that men are smarter or more import than themselves, find repulsive. He doesn't just think women are dumb and week he thinks they are bad. He doesn't like women, not just feminists or independent women; he hates all women. Rush tolerates women that agree with him but they are still, in his eyes, stupid whores.
Well, so long as we're splitting hairs, Rush, you don't seem to like US very much either. If you want to improve your relationships with women (whther personally or as a whole)change your whole attitude towards us.
At this point the only thing Rush can do for me is either STFU or just die. I think the latter would be easier for him.
