Dear all,
I'm participating in a panel with the topic of "Different Views of Iran and Iranian Women: Beyond Stereotypes" today (March 2nd) at 3 pm in Los Angeles. I will be speaking about the Iranian feminist movement and especially the One Million Signatures Campaign.
The event is being held at the Oviatt Library in California State University Northridge. Feel free to drop in if you were interested.

It's about freakin' time! But thankfully, they did arrest the cop for murder. And he was in northern Nevada, because he "feared for his life"...gee, wonder what that's like? Certainly not like being held face-down to the ground while the officer arresting you pulls his gun...not saying bedroom furniture he should be killed, but at least he wasn't just wandering around like he's untouchable just because he was a cop.
