I've been working on a project for my feminist studies class. It's a website with several different people's interpretation of feminism. A few are from classmates, a few are from books I've read. The idea is to show people all the different types of feminism--and anti-feminism--that are out there.
Anyway, it's not exactly feminist blogging, but I would really like some opinions on it. The concept is important to me, I'm just not sure if the execution is good.

And on that note, I'm curious to hear what all of your personal definitions/interpretations/practices of feminism are. Feel free to share what makes feminism important to you.

awesome project! very interesting definitions - i hope you keep adding more. and great graphics!
I too think this is an awesome project.
I'm still working out what my personal application of feminism actually is, I couldn't put it into words. The website seems to cover most of the bases though and gave me some great definitions to ponder.
Great job!!
Nice site. But...
It reminds me of a PowerPoint presentation, and we all know how popular those are.
The site is 'only' a slideshow. Some of the quotes are interesting, certainly, but they just follow each other, with no particular order or grouping by subject or theme. I clicked the first ten pages or so, and then gave up.
Maybe you could add some meat to the site, provide more discussions, commentary or context.
Good luck!
I think it's really good. And the power point like setup is pretty appropriate considering it is a college project. Professors love power point!
I like the quote about how the gender dichotomy defines man as self/mind and woman as other/body. That's an interesting way to put it that I've never heard.
I really like your site. I like the combination of quotes from known feminists and young feminists and non-feminists. By including the anti opinion you support the plurality that is that essence of feminism. I liked that you provided links to other sites. I wouldn't have minded some more art too and liked the images you included. On a technical note check the bottom of page four "hte" and graphically I found the white text on the black a little difficult to look at. I'm not sure if it's the font or the colors though. Well done.
Love it! The font you chose really adds a nice touch. I like that it's a slide show but the black background fills the whole page instead of just a box screen.
