Rape on Native American Lands
NPR story here.
Lack of funding and jurisdictional restrictions results in a huge number of sexual assault committed on Native American Lands going uninvestigated and unprosecuted. There are a lot of different issues here, obviously rape culture, but also the US's priorities not including Native American issues.
It sounds like there are law-makers are trying to address this issue with the new bill, The Tribal Law and Order Act. Here is some info from Amnesty International on the new bill.

But all America is Native American land. Maybe the government needs to work on recognising that first.
No it isn't; they only beat the rest of the world to it by a few tens of thousands of years out of humanity's 200,000 year existence. Talk about stepping off the boat (or rather, land-bridge) and becoming anti-immigrant!
Of course it is. The land that the United States occupies was stolen from the Native American's It is their land. It was invaded and systematically stolen from them, destroying their home and culture in the process. Apparently you need a good history lesson.
