From Ben Goldacre's excellent "Bad Science" column:
'There’s nothing like science for giving that objective, white-coat flavoured legitimacy to your prejudices, so it must have been a great day for Telegraph readers when they came across the headline “Women who dress provocatively more likely to be raped, claim scientists”. Ah, scientists. “Women who drink alcohol, wear short skirts and are outgoing are more likely to be raped, claim scientists at the University of Leicester.” Well there you go. Oddly, though, the title of the press release for the same research was “Promiscuous men more likely to rape”. '

Are you fucking kidding me? No wonder we let rapists run free.
I hate articles like this because I've been raped more than once by a boyfriend and one of those times I was passed out from drinking too much Vodka when I was 15 and an extreme alcoholic and my boyfriend even admitted to me the next day he did have sex with me (more like rape since to this day I still don't really remember).
To this day I still feel like I put myself in that situation for drinking that much to begin with and I don't want other women to feel like that. God I hate shit like this.
