DC sex shops?
Just a quick hit here. A dear friend and I were thinking of spending part of Saturday in DC trying to find some new toys :) And while I remember seeing several posts on the subject here, I can't recall any shop names. If any one could suggest some great sex shops in the DC area to check out, we would really appreciate. I've heard good things about some places in Balitmore, but we are stuck in DC proper for our shenanigans. Thank you!

Seattle is where one of my favorite sex shop babeland. Great babeland
so, the pickings in DC are slimmer than you'd think. There's Pleasure Place, located in Dupont Circle and Georgetown (G-town's bigger). fine for run-of-the-mill vibrators, porn, and cheap costumes, though a lot of their gear is WAY overpriced ($99 for a wireless remote vibe? puh-leeze). I hear very good things about Le Tache, located across the river in Alexandria - not sure but it should be metro accessible, right on King Street in downtown Alexandria. Night Dreams is another big one, out on the Rockville Pike, a couple blocks from the White Flint metro. I hear it's decent, but can't comment personally. Happy hunting!
Dascha (in G-town, 31st St between M & K) is, IMO, the best sex shop in DC for women. Check out their mission statement: http://dascha.myshopify.com/pages/our-mission-statement
It's a very nice place, with well informed staff, and it definitely caters to women's pleasure more than say, Pleasure Place.
Oh, shoot. I just saw on their website that they lost their lease in G-town and are now just online. That really is upsetting.
