Man fired over wife's profession
As far as I could tell this hadn't been posted yet. Basically, a man working as a town manager in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, was fired when the Mayor found out his wife was a porn actress. By his employer's own admission he was good at his job and got along with everyone and his wife was the only reason he was fired.

ah yes, the old "we're not the ones who want to do this to you, we just have to do this to benefit the community."
I guess when you work in government, it's not okay to have a porn star for a wife because it might ruin the city's image, but you can most certainly hire prostitutes "for the boys" so long as no one knows.
So many intersectionalities and hyprocrasies here, it takes an entire dissertation to cover.
That sucks.
BTW, now that he's been fired from his job, his household would depend on his wife's porn job income even more. So much for discouraging porn work...
