I do not watch "Megan Wants A Millionaire" because I can't stand her. The title repulses me. However, what grabbed my attention, is one of the reality contestants is a "person of interest" in the death of a swimsuit model. She was found in a suitcase in a dumpster over the weekend. He made a report to police on Saturday and has since fleed. He has a prior record for domestic violence. I am sad for her family. The silver lining is Vh1 did pull the show from its website and will not air future episodes for now. Vh1 has sunk to new lows, but I am glad to hear they did that.
What is disturbing is someone having prior record for domestic violence is allowed to be on a dating show, for lack of a better term. Are background checks done or just overlooked? Is that all it takes, a woman being found dead in a dumpster to bring attention? For all we know, he could of assaulted more women, but they were afraid to come forward. If that is the situation, I hope more women will have to the courage to speak up.

The side truth is that most of the psych and personality profiling done for reality contestants is geared precisely toward bringing together folks that are likely to have personality conflicts and hence 'drama'.
I don't know anything about this show. I don't know if any producers have yet stooped so low as to intentionally include men with records of domestic violence in such programs. But I wouldn't be particularly surprised because these kinds of individuals, many prone to explosive outbursts, are exactly the kind of thing that generate viewers.

Reminds me of that radio show who had a contest to hook women up with a guy that turned out to be convicted several times for domestic violence and then went on to rape the woman who won.

They don't care. They just want to make money.
His attorney probably didn’t file all the proper legal documents in the first place …it can be done and /or (s) he made sure all the proper legal files wouldn’t be found by a cursory check only by contacting them and the average background check not know what to look for any way his case was plead down and on the surface all would appear normal. The pleading would probably not say domestic violence but something else as I understood it did and one would have to know the codes and Canada’s system if one wanted to look any further. Very typical for
A conviction to say what the person was found guilty of and one would have to dig to find what they were charged with.
