She handled that WAY better than I would. I wouldve started stuttering in anger and then it would end in either a restraining order or a physical assault charge. What an idiot that Misogynist is! Blatant manipulation and complete distortion. I should learn to handle myself better though, esp as one of my majors is PR!
Actually, the fundamental question was "if women are so hard up as all that and yet just as clever as men, why don't they just brainwash men since they dominate their formative years" (not "why do they," but rather "why don't they").
Gloria handled it quite well and frankly the answer is not terribly different today.
I suppose I would have turned it back around on the moderator and asked him if that's what he wanted: to be brainwashed and live his life in service of a lie--and when he replies no, I would point out that that's exactly what is going on anyway. That gender binary, enforced gender roles, and general inequality has created a system by which people sacrifice so much potential happiness and prosperity in service of a lie, and those that recognize the system for what it is are too afraid of losing everything in combat of that system that is much greater and more powerful than they are.
