I saw that last night and favorited (and Facebook linked) the shit out of it, if that's possible. Definitely a great contrast to the idea of his generation of people (to say nothing of soldiers) being galloping homophobes.
Most of all, if this video goes even more viral, I hope it doesn't result in him getting his life turned upside-down and/or smeared. "He's a lifelong Republican who fought on WW2, but he supports marriage equality. Therefore, he is obviously a tree-hugging, anti-American hippie."

I watched this man speak at the hearing and it was beautiful. He got one of the longest standing ovations of everyone that spoke.
The two most moving speakers, in my opinion, were Bob Talbot (of the Bangor NAACP) and a little girl named Ella:
