Thanks alot, Pepsi Co.
Does this make anyone else angry? There's a new application for the iPhone called "Before You Score" by Amp energy drink (owned by Pepsi). It gives guys and instant guide on how to manipulate a girl and get into her pants, narrowed down to any stereotypical label that the targeted girl seems to fit. It's been critiqued already in the social media world for alienating female customers. I think that's an understatement. Just another reason I'll choose Coke products, I guess.
Here's the article about it on Mashable.com

Yeah, Pepsi's pretty evil... but Coke is no alternative!
The Coca Cola company is famous for its abuses of human rights law and its environmental crimes. The company has been directly involved in the torture and assassination of union leaders in Colombia, the poisoning of local water supplies across the world, and the privitization of collectively-owned water supplies that deprives communities of water and then attempts to sell it back to them (it takes several liters of water to produce a liter of coke). They're also big on child labor, tax fraud, and of course, destroying local economies by putting local beverage companies out of business.
Thanks for making me feel a bit better for preferring Pepsi (the more I drink Coke, the less I like it)
I kind of think that its ironic that pepsi is funding this considering that the morman church owns the pepsi corporation
Pepsi is owned by the Mormon Church? Forrealz?
Nope, that's an urban legend: http://www.snopes.com/cokelore/mormon.asp
Also ironic is that a group of conservatives are currently boycotting Pepsi because the company supports gay rights. Apparently, Pepsi donated money to the Human Rights campaign. How anyone can decry something that is has the phrase 'Human Rights' in the title is beyond me, but I sure would love to see those protest signs, "Stop furthering the Human Rights agenda!"
The story is here: http://rawstory.com/2009/10/500000-boycott-pepsi/
Pepsi is also supposed to have better labour rights.

Pepsi has apologized..."if it's in bad taste," of course. Gotta love those non-apologies. And of course the app was not taken down.
Strangely, the (inevitably clueless) comments on this article seem to be more focused on the fact that one of the categories of women the app gives tips about is "married."
What I'd like to know is where the hell is the App on "How to appeal to women by NOT BEING AN ASSHOLE - 25 surefire tips"...
I just realised that one of the "types" of women Pepsi, Co. is so gracious to help guys score with is "Married." So....keep it classy, Pepsi.
Hopefully the subheadings includes instructions on how to turn around and walk away.
I would like this app if the answer to every "type" was "leave her the fuck alone."
"Put your phone away when talking to prospective partners" is the tip most likely to help men and women.
and this...
