wow....that is ridiculous. I'm so amazed that this type of advertising gets put into production.
My favorite line is: "Make your boobs jealous" wow...so we really are either T or A
Done.
Done.
I hate advertising that focuses on women being jealous of one another. We're all in this together, yo.
Ads directed at men objectify women, this is nothing new. But ads directed at women objectifying women? What, are we not buying into the idea that we are a nice butt and pair of legs enough?
I don't particularly care for the line about women being jealous, or the line about men either. But these shoes are supposed to be used to firm and tone your thighs and ass, so....it's kinda accurate? I don't know, it could have been done better in any case.
Yeah, MBT makes a shoe that achieves a similar purpose and AFAIK seems to have developed a following without having to resort to this crap. Instead, they target people who want better posture, athletes who use them between workouts, people with back problems, etc.
See, Reebok? Lots of reasons women might buy ergonomic shoes besides wanting to be pretty and p*ss other women off.
I'm completely appalled that someone actually approved these commercials. Apparently women are completely vain creatures who act as consumers only in order to obtain male attention.
Needless to say, I sent them a lengthy email. We'll see if anything changes.
"88% of men are speechless.
76% of women jealous."
...WTF? Stereotyping is never a good idea.
Fuck you Reebok.
Lol, what IS funny, though, is how they totally photoshopped her vagina/vulva/labia away.
Well, if they left in her privates, someone might get *offended*...
Fuck Reebok. I just sent them a STRONGLY worded email.
I've never liked their shitty products anyway. Just goes to show they are completely out of touch with their female athletes.
