What “pro-life” really means for women in the US

When the GOP puts out "pro-life" ads, they don’t show the real consequences of denying women the right to control their reproductive destinies. They don’t show the staggering number of women who are not healthy enough for pregnancy, or suffer from complications. They show you sugary images of smiling families and healthy babies. "Pro-life" as pro-family is a blatant lie, and it’s time the GOP fessed up.

Yesterday the front page article of the newspaper asked, “Should women submit?”/ A Reason to vote for my column

Rape By Deception. Say What?!

This week in Israel, an Arab-Israeli man who had consensual sex with a Jewish Israeli woman was sentenced to 18 months in prison for rape. When the woman found out that he was Arab, and not Jewish as she had assumed, she immediately went to the police and filed a rape case.
