As previously reported here, India's Dehli High Court for Dehli ruled that homosexuality is not illegal.
There was some question as to whether or not it applied to the entire country, or just the state of Dehl. Word out today (7/3/2009) suggests that it is for THE ENTIRE NATION!
Congratulations to the entire Indian nation!
I copied and pasted it, so it looks a little different, but you get the drift. Thank you to everyone who got involved with my last post!
I am the oldest child, being a mere two years older than my brother. I always made excellent grades, and without encouragement from my parents took it upon myself to experience every sports team, in order to weed out the sports I was either not as interested in, or saw no potential for great improvement. I always had very long hair, which always ended up an unruly mess at the end of the day, since I mostly played outside or constantly attended varying practices after school. I remember getting in trouble often for playing with my brother's Hot Wheels and Legos, because as you may know, once another child picks up one's toy, although that individual may not be playing with it, they decide they want to play with it. That incident occurred frequently. I always had girl friends, but preferred to play with boys during recess, because they would play basketball, tag, or race one another- I won many races on my elementary playground. I once joined an all boys' soccer team, because they didn't offer a girls' team, and I started. I guess you could say I was a tomboy. I enjoyed fishing, and my dad encouraged me to go along with him; he also encouraged me to keep my hair long, because it is "a woman's glory". I had it cut all off when I was in high school, and still felt pretty glorious.
